Looking For PfCO Courses In The UK?
Drones are now used in many different sectors, from wedding photography and commercial production to aerial surveying. Nowadays becoming a commercial drone pilot can be hugely profitable. So, how do you go about it?
A PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation) is the legal document you need to operate a commercial drone in the UK’s airspace. It was previously known as a Permission for Aerial Work (PFAW) before having its name changed in August 2016.
If you’re intending to use a drone for commercial purposes, it’s essential to get a PfCO licence from a CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) accredited provider like ProDrone Academy. The Civil Aviation Authority regulates all airspace in this country, including the use of drones, and you must have their permission before carrying out any aerial work.
